Founded in 1999, Jeeva Theophilus Management Services CC, trading as Power Connection, is an electrical service contracting company that provides services suited specifically to clients’ short and long term objectives

The business specialises in industrial and commercial electrical infrastructure. The foundation of the prosperous business was built on industry expertise and knowledge from Mr Theophilus.

We are able to undertake both private and public projects and are fully qualified to design and plan any electromechanical installation. All work carried out is in compliance with South African safety standards thus offering services of the highest quality.Services offered range from consulting, to detailed electrical engineering project management, project control, installation supervision and commissioning

Mr Theophilus joined Stocks Electrical in 1983 as a Site Clerk, in 1990 the company saw his potential and promoted him to Commercial Manager for their East London branch, here he got involved in estimating cost and quantity surveying on projects. In 1991 due to director disputes Stocks Electrical closed its doors and thus retrenched their staff.


Having the skills and knowledge of the industry he formed Performance Electrical with a colleague and stayed in that business until 1998.


Soon afterwards he started his own company called Jeeva Theophilus Management Services CC trading as Power Connection. The Company started from humble beginnings, completing small projects in East London. Power Connection’s excellent customer service and workmanship was noticed by Edison Power, resulting in Edison Power employing Power Connection as their project managers for Nelson Mandela Level 3 Hospital in Mthatha and now Power Connection is one of the leading Electrical contractors in East London and Border Region.


The members are very approachable individuals and as such, many businesses enjoy doing business with them.

Short term goals :

Long term goals :



  • The long-term objective is to build a client base that is supportive, sustainable and meaningful long-term relationships with clients where the business will not compromise on customizing service.
  • The company will ensure that appropriate skills training and development is offered on an on-going basis with the assistance of relevant community stakeholders, and that job creation opportunities, especially for women and the youth is created and sustained.
